Seed2 is officially closed! We did it!

Hi everyone,

 Lauren here, Geoship’s Head of Marketing, and as we officially close this crowdfunding round, I wanted to take a moment to reflect and share some updates with you.

First and foremost, thank you. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or recently joined our mission, your belief in Geoship makes this all possible. Together, we’ve reached our funding goal, welcoming over 1,000 new visionaries into our investor community—a powerful signal of the collective momentum we’re building.

When we set out to launch this round, we had an ambitious goal: to raise an additional $5M to complete our previous $3M seed round in under 90 days. Experts cautioned us that this was a bold and unlikely pursuit. In 2023, only 11 companies reached the $5M milestone, and only a small percentage surpassed $1M through this approach. Achieving it in just 90 days? They said it was improbable.

But what they didn’t account for was the incredible passion and power of our community. Not only did we achieve our goal—we surpassed it in less than 90 days! 

This round was about more than just raising funds—it was about demonstrating that we can secure support from mission-aligned investors and early customers, breaking free from the constraints of traditional funding models.  

 At Geoship, we stand for the future of housing—one that is community-led and purpose-driven. That’s why raising capital from you, our community, aligns so deeply with our vision. Rather than turning to institutional investors, we’ve chosen a path that prioritizes people, inviting everyone who shares our mission to be part of Geoship’s growth and success. 

This path isn’t the easiest—raising capital from thousands of individuals takes commitment—but it’s the right one. It keeps us true to our vision: creating living sanctuaries that reflect shared values and inspire a new way of life. Our bioceramic geodesic domes are more than homes; they’re tools for building communities in harmony with the Earth and shaping a future grounded in connection, purpose, and regeneration.

We believe the wealth created through this venture should be held by people who share these values and will use it to uplift humanity.

Thanks to your belief in our vision, we not only proved this approach works but also achieved significant milestones as a business:

• Our reservation pipeline has surpassed $200 million, demonstrating strong and growing demand and representing over 1,351 domes!

• We’ve received approval for the land use permit for Amma #1, our first bioceramic geodesic dome, and are laying the groundwork to scale operations with our pilot production facility to meet this demand.

• Major progress has been made in engineering and manufacturing, including refining our bioceramic material formulations, advancing mold and panel production processes, and enhancing dome engineering for scalability and efficiency. These advancements are setting the stage for streamlined production and delivery.

• The Geoship investor community is now 3,400+ strong, made up of forward-thinkers, dreamers, and doers who share a vision for a regenerative future.

What’s Next?

Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for a monumental 2025. Here’s a glimpse of what’s on the horizon:

• We’ll be putting this funding to work, building toward producing the first couple of Amma Domes and scaling our delivery capacity. Stay tuned for a detailed announcement in the new year.
