Where Sacred Geometry Meets Soulful Living

At Geoship, we’ve always believed that a home should be more than just a structure—it should be a sanctuary, a canvas for your life, and a bridge between humanity and nature.

That’s why we’re beyond excited to share our first official interior renderings of the Founders Edition Amma, our go-to-market dome home. These aren’t just visuals—they’re glimpses into a future where architecture nourishes the soul and regenerates the planet.

Key Design Features of the Amma Interior

The Amma's interior design reflects our core ethos: simplicity, organic beauty, and a deep connection to nature. These designs represent a bold step toward redefining sustainable, climate-resilient housing.

Design Philosophy:

This past week, during a special Ambassador Meetup, our CEO Micha Mikailian, lead designer and co-founder Bas Kools, and interior architect Samuel Sutcliffe took us behind the scenes of our design process.

Here’s a look into the inspirations, innovations, and design philosophies that shape the heart of Geoship interiors:

  • Organic Shapes and Simplicity: The geodesic dome’s striking geometry is complemented by interiors that embrace fluid, natural forms. From curved furniture like pebble-inspired sideboards to a central helical staircase, every element enhances the space’s organic flow. Samuel emphasizes, “We focus on simplicity and organic shapes to create a warm, inviting feeling that enhances that connection to nature.”

  • Lightness and Openness: Bas highlights the importance of “lightness” in the design, ensuring the space feels airy and expansive. Large, strategically placed windows flood the dome with natural light and offer stunning views, fostering an indoor-outdoor experience. “We want everything to align from bottom to top, drawing your eye into the space.”

  • Muted, Earthy Palette: The initial renderings feature a subtle, neutral color scheme—think soft woods, low-VOC finishes, and earthy tones. This deliberate choice, Samuel notes, allows the dome to serve as “a canvas for life.” Residents can personalize it over time with pops of color or custom furnishings, starting from a fresh, clean baseline.

  • Sustainable Materials: The design integrates our signature bioceramic material—not just for the exterior shell but also in interior panels, walls, and floors. Paired with ethically sourced wood, low-VOC quartz countertops, and non-toxic finishes, the Amma prioritizes health and sustainability. “We’re selective about materials to ensure they’re non-toxic and sustainable, matching the bioceramic’s positive attributes,” says Samuel.

  • Flexible Living Spaces: The layout is thoughtfully designed for adaptability. The ground floor features an open living area, kitchen, dining space, and a secondary bedroom that can flex as a children’s room or office. Upstairs, a lofted office and primary bedroom with built-in closets and a luxurious bathroom (complete with a bathtub and double sink) offer versatility. “Each space is a suggestion, designed for flexibility in furniture layouts,” Samuel says.

  • Customization Potential: While the Founder’s Edition is a detailed, high-quality baseline, Bas envisions a future where customization thrives. “Over time, we’ll offer more options, and a market of artisan makers will craft furniture and objects tailored to these spaces,” he said. From accessibility upgrades (like replacing the helical staircase with a lift) to personalized finishes, the Amma is built to evolve with its residents.

Bas and Samuel paint a vivid picture of the Geoship design philosophy. Samuel reflects on the challenge of pairing the dome’s bold exterior with its interior:

“The geodesic shell is so strong on its own—what do you combine with it? We asked ourselves how to create a solid foundation for people to build their lives upon.”

Bas echoes this sentiment, adding,

“We’re not telling people how to live. We’re creating a canvas—something solid yet open for differentiation.”

The team emphasizes the innovative construction process.

“All these parts are pre-cast in our factory and assembled on-site like a big puzzle,” Bas noted. “It’s radically different from how most homes are built today.”

A Movement in the Making

These renderings are more than just visuals—they’re a testament to Geoship’s mission, as articulated by our CEO, Micha Mikailian, during our recent live ambassador meetup:

“We’re creating housing that’s accessible, affordable, healthy, and climate-resilient—supporting thriving communities where people flourish.” With over $300 million in pre-orders and our first full-scale home set for delivery this summer, the momentum is palpable.

🚀 What’s Next?

You can expect these renderings to transform into our first official virtual tour experience next month! These are the first glimpses, and we’ll be sharing more soon—including videos, walkthroughs, and a look at the actual physical builds coming to life in Q3 this year.
